The Little Giants from the coach’s POV – 2

So we’re after the 6th episode. Again we managed to stay in the show! What a thrill! This saturday our direct rivals were „Czaderki”. It’s a very strong team so we had to do our best not only to stay in program but also to perform great in comparison.
Olivia got a difficult song again („Rather be” Clean Bandit). Lot of lyrics, syncopations, big scale. But now, after the last episode I was calmer. And I was right, already during rehearsals I saw that it’s going to be all right. Of course there always is a possibility of mistakes, especially under a big stress but our vocalist did very well. All 10’s, average 10!
Nina and Adam danced Vogue. That’s good. I think our dancers are very good at this kind of subtle choreography. Lot of grace and feeling. One of the jurors liked this less but still, the average 9,2 was a very good outcome.
Now for the little ones. Sub – coaches working with the youngest participants (Piotr Balicki, Aleksandra Antolak, Malgosia Lipka) do a very good job training Kinga and Stas. I think that the most difficult part is to choose a proper repertoire. It was a fantastic idea to give them the song „Don’t worry about me” (old Polish hit from the 60’s). It corresponded to their „marriage” situation with a twist. Already an intro by Kinga made the audience laugh loud and the rest of the song was so sweet! Beside the song our kids have talent for imptovisation and they do very good discussing with Filip and the jurors. There is nothing prepared before. Fully spontaneous. Kinga nad Stas won 10 points for us.
After my team’s performance I waited easily for the end of the episode being sure that we pass. And then this surprise at the end! We got another point for Olivia’s performance in the sung together „Imagine” by John Lennon. Again we finished on the first place! We fight on!
